Cracow University of Technology and TOR Akademia join forces

During the Congress of Polish Infrastructure, a declaration of willingness to cooperate was signed between the Cracow University of Technology and the TOR Business Advisors Team. The new area of cooperation between the two entities will be specialized training for industries such as infrastructure, rail, mobility and local governments.

“We want to jointly contribute a brick to the professional development of engineers, supporting companies in acquiring specialist knowledge and building digital competences, as well as in building an image of an attractive choice of career path,” said Adrian Furgalski, president of the TOR Business Advisory Team. - We need to convince high school students and students that the profession of an engineer is ambitious and demanding, but also an attractive and wise choice of career path.

The Polish infrastructure and construction sector is facing an increasing shortage of skilled workers. It was this problem that prompted TOR Business Advisory Team and Cracow University of Technology to undertake joint actions aimed at better preparing future engineers to work in dynamically changing market conditions, as well as strengthening the overall potential of the Polish construction industry. One of the important aspects of cooperation between the university and ZDG TOR will be the creation of an effective cooperation platform between the academic community and the construction industry, through the organization of specialized industry training.

Krakow University of Technology is a renowned university and one of the leaders in the education of engineers and specialists in the field of construction. Together with TOR Business Advisors Team, owner of the brand TOR Academy and the portal www.tor-konferencje.pl, specializing, among others in the organization of trainings for the railway, public transport and infrastructure sectors, plan to organize training cycle to improve the professional qualifications of future and current workers in the construction and infrastructure industry. The aim of the workshop will be to equip participants in modern skills and knowledge. Thanks to this, employees will respond to the needs of employers, as well as effectively implement infrastructure and construction projects.
